Elephant Hawk-Moth

My neighbours M&M had invited myself and my neighbour S round at 7:30 this morning to see the moths caught in their moth trap - it was already warm! An amazing variety and number of moths were trapped and released safety. My main is a collage of Elephant Hawk-Moths (there were seven of them). I've added two collages to Extras, one of the Eyed Hawk-Moth which M hadn't seen or trapped since 2010 (there were two of them) and the second of the other moths I photographed. These included a White Furcula, Buff Arches, Spectacle, Buff-tip, Brimstone and a Lobster moth. Amazing to think these beautiful creatures are all around and I never see them. Another hot and sunny day. Two lots of washing done and dried and to be ironed tonight if it gets cooler. A new blackout stick on blind cut to size for a patio door. More tennis watched and some sitting out and reading in the garden.
