The biggest issue with peonies is their propensity to flop over. Bit of a design flaw if you ask me.

Earlier, over my lunchtime sandwich, I watched a blackbird grab a wasp in the apple tree. It made for the rockery and bashed the wasp against a stone and, when assured the wasp was dead, guzzled it down.

“I may do it, I may not do it”…..how has the US got that cockwomble making decisions about policy for the Middle East?
