The Other Side Of Burnham
It struck me that my blips of our Wednesday walks at Burnham have exclusively featured it’s more picturesque aspects so, in the interests of balance, here’s the other, traditional sea-side side, literally the opposite side of the street from the prom.
The big building at the end of the arcade is The Reeds Arms, the local Wetherspoons, which of course we frequented for a late breakfast.
Once home we had a lazy afternoon in the garden.
Our broadband company have decided that we’re still not up to speed and are sending another engineer on Friday. I’m impressed that they monitor their speeds so closely; I’ll be even more impressed if they can fix the problem this time.
I’ve tagged this for Wide Wednesday on the basis of the admittedly extremely tenuous connection between the amusement arcade’s name and the Solstice theme!
