Taxis to Troon

125 Glasgow taxis, and one open-top vintage bus (from which this photo was taken), were parked all along the prom after arriving on the 78th Glasgow Taxi Outing to Troon. The drivers bring children and others deserving of a day out at the seaside. Many of the drivers decorate their taxis and wear fancy dress, and the town of Troon comes out onto the streets to welcome them into the town.
