Blessing

Couldn’t face travelling across the city and back again in the heat of the day…
Didn’t feel like a people day.. and craft group can get very overwhelming for me sometimes
Had a lot on my mind..
Lydia’s struggling and I wanted to be available to chat with her whenever she needed…

Vic had gone down to his river near Hay on Wye.
He can check the state of the River Wye on an app on his phone!!!.. and it was perfect!!!
I’m not sure how he’ll cope in the heat as his medication is not heat friendly!!!..
So I continued to tidy up bits of the garden, ignoring much needed housework,, moving around with the shade!!!
At our Call to Prayer on Sunday Mornings, Donald had asked for “ blessings” that we liked to share. The one I sent a few weeks ago was a song , but there are copyright problems, so I decided to quickly add it into one of my journal pages and send him that.
It’s from a song sung by Marilyn Baker, a blind Christian singer.
I went to see her in a concert over 20 years ago and her music had stayed with me.
