Number One

This is Groyne 1, Portobello. A strange word, groyne .... I'm not sure how many there are along the prom, but I guess they are numbered for a reason ...
 We were up in town to get the car serviced. That's TM's department, so I got dropped off at an out of town shopping centre, and, after a few mundane purchases, got the bus into Morningside,  from where we went down to the shore for a walk and then coffee and baklava at the Greek Patisserie. A rare treat!

Home again, poorer by the price of a new tyre ... and glad to be back in the peace of the country. I wonder how we will adapt to living in the city, when the time comes.
