Front Garden reboot

The layout shows how we dug out our front garden to widen the steps and to remove all unwanted trees and plants, dig it over, add some soil improver and plant up with plants we've bought over the last year specifically for this space. Last stage was this morning, which was placing the plants in situ before digging them, which I did this afternoon. Hot sweaty dirty work. Just got finished and showered before joining friend ms for an evening out at a book author evening with Eowyn Ivey, promoting her latest novel "Black Wood, Blue Sky"
Final stages of the front garden include a little path from the steps over the garden to the bird feeders and window. Then we concentrate on the tiny garden on the other side of the steps. Finish pruning the cherry tree, dig over the bed, give the peony some loving care and plant more plants.
