Common Spotted Orchid

A very breezy day and quite cloudy. Without the wind, it would feel quite warm. A short walk at lunchtime. Nice view of Edinburgh Castle, but Fife just a misty outline on the horizon.

On the afternoon walk, there are now quite a few marsh orchids near the Comiston Springs Water House. In addition, common spotted orchids have also made an appearance. We manage to sit outside in some sunshine for a few minutes before heading home.
