For Meg

To whom we've said our final goodbyes today at a very nice Crematorium with lovely grounds just outside Wolverhampton. Meg, 89 had had a full and adventurous life of over 50 years with her Partner J, a multiple British Sporting Trials Champion in motor hill climbs, and later in the world of sail plane Gliding, when J took that up and is where we first met them both many years ago.

Apart from Meg and J's families there was a good turn out of members from the Gliding Club and many memories shared later at the wake.

Very, very warm today but with a very welcome cooling breeze at times.

RIP dear Meg. One of my fondest memories of you was when on a Gliding holiday in Scotland in 2004 where Mr HB suffered a mild stroke, you were so very kind and helpful to me. Most of the holiday was spent in the Aberdeen Infirmary.
