Interesting building ...
... Luma Tower started off in 1936/38 as a light bulb factory for the Scottish Cooperative Wholesale Society in partnership with the Swedish Cooperative Union who had a similar factory in Stockholm. This B listed Streamline Moderne building was designed by Cornelius Armour.
With the shipyards on the nearby River Clyde, the tower was used as a look post during WW2. In later years it became Caravanland ... selling caravans (that's what I remember it as). By the late 80s it lay derelict and in 1993 the Linthouse Housing Association with architects Cornelius McClyment began converting it to housing constructing 43 stylish apartments ... an example here.
