Flower Power

BiL a bit up & down, but they are still happy with his progress.

I’ve spent most of the day outdoors, it’s been beautiful…….. finally got around to planting up my window boxes & bought a hanging basket from the Nursery where I got the container/bedding plants from.
Bought sis a basket too, as she definitely hadn’t got time to do her own!

I’ve gone for a white pink & purple theme this year, there wasn’t a lot of choice, as I’m so late this year! Pretty pleased with how they look though, at least the plants are a decent size do instant impact, which is always good. Typically we are in for a very hot spell over the next few days, think I might have to ask my neighbours if they will water them whilst I’m in Lincoln.

I mowed the back lawn this afternoon, boy was I hot, like a wet lettuce as they say!
My gardening man is coming Friday to cut the front two….. they are so long again!

I bought a trailing fuschia in Asda this morning, it’s on a cane frame, like an espalier, covered in lovely pink & white big dancing ladies, only £8 :-))

Prawn & Salmon pasta salad for dinner tonight.

Spent a couple of hours on the pc this evening, trying to export contacts from one email account to another….. should be straight forward but there’s a discrepancy with my POP server info…. need to google that to sort out :-/
