PRAYERS
A day of celebrating, frustration and remembering….
As Mum said she’d come down to our church and O and the Rev were coming too I asked our vicar to include O and his fiancée in the prayers. J and D came too so it felt like a family affair to bless his marriage in India in a few days time. It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind the last few months!

Then the frustration trying to get organised for a BBQ to celebrate Father’s Day and to celebrate what would have been Dans 90th birthday (my step father in law). I bought a balloon to release. The Rev had put it in the car but when I got home all 4 doors were open, as was the boot and the sunroof!!!!!!!! BUT no balloon aarrgghh not going to deny it, I had a bit of a strop!!!!!!!!
However J saved the day and bought another one. After our bbq at the allotment (obviously) we left the balloon go and sadly remembered the kind, gentle guy Dan was.
It did make us smile as it didn’t go up but circled about 10ft off the ground around the plots before it went up.
2 days until India!
