After overnight and morning rain the weather cleared and we returned to the Brooklyn Reserve for a walk - and to check out the purple fungi I have been photographing there.

The fungi world was glistening with water and waterdrops. And looked quite magical.

The blemish on today’s fungi is actually providing a bed for the tiniest wee snail. No doubt it will be seen much better when opened in large!!
