I am Eighteen

Today is my birthday and I am eighteen. So, I am wishing happy birthday to my litter mates, in order of birth, Sybil, Zebedee, Dillian and Dougal who have all crossed the Rainbow bridge. I was the last one to be born and not expected to survive. I was born with only one eye and my breathing is sometimes rather odd; here I am the last one born and living the longest. I am now doing very well on my new medication and special renal diet.
 
My humans went out early this morning before it got too hot and they had breakfast before doing a couple of jobs; my human mummy gave me my breakfast before she went out. I had my present last week, some catnip mice.
 
Stay safe all doggies and cats in this heat and refuse to go out; like humans you also need to keep hydrated.
 
Today’s picture is of course me; I even posed for the picture. (Actually, I did not pose, she crept up on me when I was not looking!)
 
 
Temperature today – it was twenty-seven degrees Celsius at noon today, rising to twenty-eight degrees Celsius during the afternoon.
