Many Blippers will recognize this as part of the York city walls which are the most extensive and well preserved of any city in England.
We are here for a reunion lunch tomorrw with many old friends who were University Secretaries and Registrars in the UK. Some I have known for fifty years. They are all good friends. I think I will now be the oldest in the group. Alas many of them now hold their reunion in the Hotel Paradiso on the other side pf the 
Pearly Gates.
The hotel is good and we managed to get one of the limited  parkingg spaces in the basement. Well done my driver ,
