Was a little apprehensive taking my car for a service and MOT today as I have heard a couple of odd clinching noises recently and the gearbox is a little sticky occasionally. However it all went swimmingly and it was ready by 2pm. Mr PHL drove me in to collect it and took the opportunity to book our other car in for next week as it too is due a service which is just bad planning on our part!

The lovely staff had cleaned both inside and outside so the car is looking very shiny.

Mr PHL wasn’t feeling very clever when he got back home as he’s been coughing a lot so took a covid test which immediately showed he was positive. Rats, so our rescheduled plan to head to Aberdeen to visit his sister and husband has been out off again. He’s not feeling too bad but I’ve decided to swap into the spare room for the next couple of days. I’m testing negative.

Choir was pretty quiet as it has been for the past two weeks whilst I was on holiday. the after effects of the performance and people being squashed together in crowded dressing rooms.
