Summer Garden 2025

A fine day, mostly cloudy and then a shower in the morning.  A beautiful sunny evening, breezy though.

A day working on my own.  I had a pressure washing job outside the library, then pressure washing bus shelters around Lerwick the rest of the day.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  Working in the shop this evening, extremely busy with the lovely evening.  Feet up before bed. 

Shame I missed a lovely evening to be out weeding in the garden, it really is needed.  Some of the established perennials are doing great this year, but the newer ones coming at slowly.  Also my bedding plants in the foreground are coming at slowly.  The bedding plants are my own homegrown plants, they just need a bit more warmth, oh well, they'll maybe give a longer flowering at the end of summer instead.  Hawthorn Cottage garden, Houl Road, Scalloway.
