Well that was quite a day.

Today was my sister in law’s funeral. She was only 64 and had problems with her liver for about 40 of those years. She will be missed terribly, particularly by her mum, her sisters, Ivan’s brother, her two daughters and her 4 grandchildren. But also by her wider family and by friends.
The funeral went OK though the minister was a bit full on and a neighbour was taken ill just before the end of the service.
As ever it was good to catch up with everyone at the funeral tea, but it was a much sadder occasion than that for my father in law less than 3 months ago.
At the end of the day we decamped to the hotel. This is tonight’s view.
