Nant Gwernol

I had a day off but decided to take a ride on the railway. I packed my sandwiches and decided to go up to the end of the line and then walk up to the quarries. The railway was originally built to bring slate down to the coast.
It was a lovely walk and I made it to the slate quarries but was then bitten four times by horseflies. I cooled off by paddling in a stream and when I got back to Tywyn I went for a play in the sea which was wonderful.
The day ended with a final blipmeet with TonyG.
