Art from Alsace

On the day we visited the picturesque town of Colmar, I visited an indoor market of artists of all kind offering their creations. I was very attracted to the stand of a young woman, called Julie, who does beautiful watercolours of Alsace.   I particularly liked this spring scene of blossoms (cherry and almond) and the presence of three storks as they are so typical of the area. The landscape is that of vineyards and a village.

The three roses are from my balcony garden and the wooden heart is a souvenir from my dear friend, Stephanie.
