Never Gets Tired
The view from the tiers in Falmouth provide some of the most spectacular scenery in Cornwall. On a sunny day, as the sun sparkles on the water there is nowhere I’d rather be.
But I was, in between shopping and a sprint out to St Michael’s Hospital in Hayle to pick up a friend following an overnight stay I was manning the gate at the rugby club. Not unduly arduous, couple of motor homes and campers to guide to their pitches, general enquiries and allowing the odd car to park was about all. I had Lou for company and the bar staff when on their breaks and of course the sunshine.
I headed off around 6.00pm having first popped my head into the clubhouse to see how things were, not unduly busy which came as a surprise as the estimate of 45,000 visitors should have meant that every venue was busy.
Aside from the revellers passing outside, after walking Paddy, it was a quiet evening with Mrs S.
