C. hosting our book club last night, delighted with the sale of her two art works from the Royal Academy Summer Show. We are all exactly as proud as if we had created the art ourselves. Hot day, book club evening - James, by Percival Everett. Interesting, more of an intellectual than an emotional exercise. I'll probably read more of his work.
