Stupid fledgy spadger

Summer is back with a vengence.  After a bus day in the home office, I went for a walk round the village with P in the evening.  Really lovely warm evening with beautiful light and P stopped to get licked by some cows.  The blip had to go to this fledgy spadger who sat for a good few minutes on a nearby fence post with something in his mouth.  He was very cute but we couldn't figure out what her was doing, surely its not nesting time already?
