What a lovely surprise I had this morning when this self seeded Peony burst into flower this morning.  It popped up in a pot a few years ago and a few months ago it started to produce one bud.  Hopefully there will be more next year.  Well it's certainly been a very hot day today.  It was 28C when I was driving back from Carlisle earlier after a wasted trip to a certain well known store to get a tv.  Ordered one online to collect in the morning.  Tess had a good time in the estuary this morning as the tide was in so lots of playing in the water with more than one dog.  Hopefully the same tomorrow.
