Hydrogen power….

Mrs F managed to get a day off for the Highland Show today. First time with no kids in tow .
Saw a few folk we hadn’t in a while, scrounged a few drinks and feeds at various stands, did a bit of business and managed to get very sun burned in the process. Should have worn a hat but didn’t….
Back home by 7 pm in time to finish up and feed the bottle calf then apply lots of after sun to my lobster pink face .
This was the hydrogen powered engine that JCB have been developing. The sticking point will be the cost efficient production of hydrogen . The guy I spoke to was one of the engineers involved in developing it .Basic science is water +electricity to produce hydrogen gas. Thinking back to higher chemistry , does it also need a catalyst? Can’t remember .
Very interesting but like most things new it will need to come down in cost to be viable
