Searching the Rumsey family tree

Spent morning delving into family history in Crickhowell local  archives under the guidance of volunteer archivist Doris Shellard an expert I was told on” the Rumsey family”.
But there is a disparity between written records and local oral family history.

Something confirmed when I meet up with family members later in the day.


M. has a weakness for trawling charity shops in search of bargains. Today he found a brand new jacket for £2.50 in Cric hospice shop. He wore it tonight in the Bear and folk were astonished at the price.( see extra).
