Pool Party

Today was Nate's last day of school (Asha's yesterday!), so this morning we headed to go to his end of year party. The entire school had choreographed a flash mob style dance as a surprise for the parents - Nate hadn't let the surprise slip at all! Lovely to see some of the teachers, Asha came too just so she could hug them all!
Nate couldn't enjoy the party much as he was sad that 1) school is over for the summer and 2) his wonderful teacher likely won't be his teacher next year (they usually have the same teacher throughout Primary). Pablo has been a really great influence in Nate's life. So, some tears and sadness. Thankfully mid afternoon we headed to Nathalie's for time in the pool and a BBQ, and Nate loves her son who is a few years older, so that helped. The family manage a fancy villa and live on site, so when there's noone there they're allowed to use this gorgeous pool (with sea views!!)...and we were invited to join the fun!
Asha and Hayley loved hanging out, they're becoming really close... They enjoyed doing crazy dive bombs into the pool!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) All the great teachers at Nate's school - each one seems to be a gem!
2) These 4 kids hanging out well together and as 2 2s.
3) Time to relax with Nathalie and Steven.
