Scorchio Summer Solstice

I'm melting!!!  The sorbet and cold water has been a godsend today and a day for mostly being indoors!  Did do some early morning watering and pruning but the rest of the day has been spent indoors trying to sort out the acquired clutter that's under my bed, a lot of which is cross stitch/craft related, along with old diaries which I've tried  to not get too distracted reading haha!  Managed to get rid of a fair bit so at least it's better organised clutter now!

Have also had the task of shopping online for a new bedside lamp as mine is playing up with a loose connection somewhere but I can't find a way to fix it!  Managed to find a very reasonably priced option from Dunelm !

Skies are looking a bit stormy right now so I am hopeful something might bubble up!! Also noticed my first Dahlia flowering in the garden  today - this one is 'Preference'.... how do they come up with these names??!
