Sunshine Saturday

I took a few photos this morning of our backyard hanging baskets. I think these are the best we have ever had. 

I also took photos of Minstrel enjoying the sun and fresh air by the back door and couldn't decide which to Blip. So here's Minstrel, and the plants are an extra. Minstrel is a small cat with a tail that's small even for him!

It's not sunny now though (4 pm), and we had to dash out to bring the laundry in from the line. The rain didn't last long, but it's very overcast and still very warm.

I almost forgot to write about the rugby. To be honest it was a performance to forget, and we were beaten by Wakefield 16-10. They were worse than last week, and did not play like WiganRL at all. They were slow, predictable, and not at all creative. No passion, no drive and no idea.It was like they could not be arsed at all. I can understand that it must be hard to maintain the previous intensity, but it would be nice not to be beaten by the likes of Wakefield. Maybe after winning everything in the last couple of seasons, they're just not hungry enough any more.

We have Castleford next week, who are also pretty poor currently. We need to get back to winning ways.

In other, better news... Brian has got the air conditioning sorted out on the car, and Grace and Sophia have found accommodation!
