Agapanthus
I did the usual trips to the newsagent, fishmonger and greengrocers this morning but other than that, have not been out. Whilst I love the heat, it isn’t conducive to doing long walks or anything too energetic, so I didn’t. By the middle of the afternoon, however, I decided to potter in the garden for a while, topping up and cleaning the water feature and pulling a few weeds. I’ll do some watering later.
I hadn’t taken any photos so, inspired by something I’d seen by one of the ‘official’ railway photographers (who was clearly bored) I took a photo of part of the garden and then ran it through an AI programme to make it look like a Monet painting. I didn’t think the result was too bad so I was going to use it for my blip, but I couldn't upload it as apparently it wasn't a valid file. So back to the drawing board.
These are some of the seed heads left over from earlier Agapanthus blooms which I had left as I thought they looked rather attractive in their own right.
