Barbecue
Dropped M and C at the Royal Highland Show so they could mooch around looking at sheep and tractors and tweed. It gave me the opportunity to sit in traffic for about an hour, which I haven't done for a while. I'll appreciate my bike a little more. I didn't want to go back the way I came, since that was also bunged up with RHS traffic, and I like a bit of mooching myself, so I carried on to Decathlon to see if I could fill some gaps in the camping / van kit.
I've been looking for a little barbecue for a while. One with two essential features - it needs to take up very little space and it needs to fit into either an aircraft galley bin or an airline meal cart since they provide all the other storage in the van. Turns out Decathlon has the very thing. That's it on the top shelf. Packs down into a little tin but expands into a decent barbecue, which will also double up as a small smoker, if I should ever find myself on the road with a raw trout. Very pleasing.
