The longest day of the year was also another very hot one here. The light evenings and the early dawns will slowly begin to shorten once again. We have had a heat induced home day today. The test match radio commentary burbling in the background is a familiar and homely sound of an English summer. We finally remembered that our conservatory has a powerful fan and it’s been a real boon this evening!
