Haar
…………………………..flamin’ haar!
The wee one was awake before 7 this morning so it’s been a long day. He was picked up mid morning by his other Grandad…we’d had several games of ISpy, Hide and Seek and the Big Bad Wolf (think 3 little pigs). Once he’d gone I did some tidying in the garden, had a quick lunch then headed to Berwick to the hairdresser. This afternoon there was an open garden trail around the village which I did with a friend before we took over hosting another friends garden so they could see some of the gardens too.
A very changeable day weather wise we started off with a thick haar which didn’t lift until this afternoon…my blip is taken as I walked over the bridge into Berwick, looking down river to Spittal where nothing was visible. By the time I’d recrossed to go home it had lifted. It was warm when R and I headed out to do the garden trail, at one point there was a nice breeze the next it was raining although it was just a quick shower. As we reached our friends it started raining again so we were sat under umbrellas doing our hosting duties…my extra was taken from under the brolly as it chucked it down, we were both soaked by the time T and A arrived back. T and A had planned Prosecco and nibbles on the patio as a thank you but we had to retreat indoors…two of us with very wet bottoms. By the time I came home the skies had cleared and it’s now a beautiful evening. PJs are already on and I’m watching The Greatest Showman.
