Nichola's Back!

It was a hot one for Parkrun today but we still had 130 courageous souls turn out to take part, and Nichola was back!  

Afterwards there was time to have lunch and upload my photos before heading down to the village to watch the Gala Procession and do my stint in the tea tent.  Thankfully, there was no repeat of last year when it poured with rain throughout the afternoon and the field was heaving with folks having fun.  I enjoyed working in the tea tent with fellow Hobblers Nadia and Angela and seeing lots of folks I hadn't seen in years:  youngsters I had taught who now had children of their own; parents from standing in the playground when our children were young; park runners; our daughters' childminders; old neighbours - lovely!
