Mary Beth Shaw's lesson
I finally got back to creating a page for the Wanderlust Art Journaling course I'm taking... This lesson is taught by Mary Beth Shaw, the owner of StencilGirl.
In late May, I began working on it by choosing 3 photos of myself at different ages. Following Mary Beth's instructions, I made stencils out of the photos. See one of them on the right. Also on the right is the first index card I did for ICAD. I used the stencils & photos on that card first, as I wanted to practice before actually doing the lesson in my journal.
The year long course is divided into 4 "seasons" of 12 lessons. This lesson is included in the "Season of You." Even though 3 or 4 more lessons have been presented following Mary Beth's, I really wanted to do her lesson. So I started here today. I plan to skip the other lessons I've missed and start back in with the current one... I have unlimited access and can go back at anytime. With everything that's been going on with my mom, I had not been able to concentrate on a longer project. There is a bit of breathing space prior to transitioning mom out of Rehab for her hip & wrist and into the dedicated Memory Care we found. So, very happily, I am taken advantage of this time!!
