Meall a Buchaille

Shepherd’s hill. A nice Corbett walk with a splendid ridge to follow on from the main event. Compared to the surrounding Cairngorm giants I was on this summit at just over 800m before I knew it. And down again all too soon. Wandering back along the loch side I was taken by the detail of the foxglove flowers and then the profusion of what my phone tells me are marshlocks flowers - appropriate for the location - these with a small bee seeking nectar.
