Well
The municipality has proclaimed a ban on using the communal water for watering plants, washing your car, filling your pool etc, the ground water level is too low and the tourist season also means an increase of using water and there will be signs in the campings telling people to use less when showering etc. This is not an unusual situation on the island but this year the levels are exceptionally low.
I'm one of the lucky ones though, since I have a well to take care of watering for me and my neighbour. We've used that water every summer for three years without running dry but we only use it for watering. If there are no rain, we use about thirty to fifty litres a day for plants, bushes and a few trees but we need to keep an eye on the level in the well so we won't dry out.
