Lettuce with a gladsome mind

Very sad to hear of blipper Folkie’s passing away. We never met but I always enjoyed her journal, her take on life and her music links. I loved her very recent fun wedding shots I thought she’d make it. Link to her brother’s journal entry:

Lettuce with a gladsome mind: it’s still a novelty to pick our own lettuce leaves and tomatoes. Today we had them on our patio with half a roast chicken, bought from along the road, late afternoon.

We had, unusually for us, a day at home. Bb met Jamie online in the morning to do our numbers (after coffee and word puzzles in bed). I did marking and QAE work. We watered all three levels and treated our lemon tree on the patio with neem oil, water and liquid soap for aphids. Fingers crossed. It gets them every year.
