Lavender

We’ve timed it about right this year for the lavender on the Valensole Plateau.
It was SOOO hot though. And the beating sun was merciless bleaching out all the colour. So apologies for another phone photo which regrettably, handled it better than my camera , or more accurately handled it better than I did using a camera.
The extras in the collage were all with the Olympus though.
We drove to see the lavender in the camper/Beast just really to keep cool because we could have the air con going as we were driving along!
This evening we went to the only Michelin starred Gluten free/ dairy free/ meat free restaurant in existence. It is a couple of miles from our campsite and is one of the reasons we came back here.
The food was exquisite, and we were able to sit outside in the garden this year unlike last year when it actually rained!
It was a treat for LooseCanon to be able to eat everything presented to us.
