Poppies

Back to work today after such a lovely weekend away. It was a very nice day, and as I was a bit slow this morning, I decided to hang my washing out and to then get the next bus. It was a no jacket, no jumper day, though I shoved a cardigan in my bag, just in case.

I was only off for two days, one really (as Friday isn’t non-working day, but there was so much to catch up with. I didn’t get to the emails, as I was struggling to keep up with today’s emails.

My calendar was also very busy, and someone had put a meeting in for 9am, which I was not expecting. Thankfully it was quite an easy meeting, even though I wasn’t up to speed on the issue being discussed. There’s nothing like starting the week off winging your way through a meeting!

I managed a quick wander at lunchtime. I bumped into a friend at the bus stop, so we had a catch up on the way home.

TT was out with friends tonight. I made macaroni cheese for tea, as requested by BB. Spookily I had already been planning to do that, when he texted me this afternoon requesting it.

He is still aching, so I made him join me for s walk this evening, to get him moving.

We’ve not been on top of the garden this year, but I just love the clumps of poppies that have appeared, and the foxgloves. TT is less keen on them.
