Platform at Pendre

This is looking west along the line towards Wharf, where we set off from. It’s the area where all the locos and carriages are kept and looked after. The building on the left is the oldest preserved loco shed in the world.
I was doing Duty 2 so I signed in at 950, did a couple of hours cleaning and safety checks and then did one run up and down. About half way up the rain was torrential. The run back was much sunnier. I have spent this evening saying goodbye to friends. I drive back tomorrow.
