A morning with music

A very rainy day but I was glad that our little group of musicians was still playing when we arrived.

The morning was spent by looking into some serious diet changes; vegan versus statins. I think that statins are way too invasive . High cholesterol levels don’t hurt and I have always declined to take pills against it. A CT scan of the heart showed a very high calcification of the coronary arteries so I am more inclined to do something to help my heart. But the side effects of those pills sound grim: muscle weakness, joint paint and dementia, all very well known to me. (And these side effects are those that I can think of. - but there are more) so I will just give it a more serious go with a heart healthy diet. And I always thought that I was eating healthily. …

So I made our lunch into two different approaches, meat for Don, no meat for me and a nice walk as soon as the rain stopped for a little while.
