Always Close to Mom

We had our first uncomfortable day of the Summer. which officially just arrived. It was hot, and we had 2 high school open houses to go to.

The 1st was under 2 tents, and it was pretty nice sitting in the shade.

The 2nd was a different matter, being held under the pavilion at our church. It was toasty. 

Mediterranean food at the first, 'que (BBQ) at the second. Both were good. 

It was so hot at the 2nd one that two ladies collapsed from heat stroke, and nurse Lisa was pressed into service.

Both young men are good kids...giving hope for that next generation into adulthood.

The geese family was interesting. This family had 6 kids. and in close proximity was another family with 7 kids. Usually being that close does not make for good relations.
