White-crowned Sparrow

A peasantly rainy day today.
We both have a  bit of viral syndrome feeling from my Covid-19 booster immunization yesterday evening.
Letting the Frenchies in, after helping them to go out, was my major activity. 
 I did get to watch a White-crowned Sparrow hunt for worms in my backyard.
It was unsuccessful but he left with a beakful of moss as a consolation prize.
