end of the longest day

For the last umpteen years we've been in Portugal at this time of year & the longest day there isn't quite so long as here. My UK memories are of long dreary rainy longest days, so this year has been wonderful! 

We went out for dinner, walked home via the beach watched the sun start to set, and home happy and calm.
