A bit more purple

Yesterday in work was a little on the manic side. Saturday therefore began with Friday's paperwork, lots of cups of tea, and then carrying on from where things left off.

In the midday sun I enjoyed a lunch break sat outside a Greggs, the branch local to work having an outdoor seating area flanked by planters filled with lavender.

I love lavender and so snapped a pic before the weather turned. This one is English but they have several varieties that I may try to get tomorrow too if its quiet. They all smell lush :-)

Finished work with a shower, home for fish, chips n' peas sat out in the garden until the last of the summer solstice daylight began to fade, then kicking up my heels on the settee for a late lovely video natter with bestie. Sleep will have occurred well after the bongs.
