Tekapo Springs Hot Pools

After a scrumptious cooked breakfast (extra, just waiting for the eggs) we headed to the Tekapo Hot Pools, different pools temperatures range from 35° - 38°.  We spent a happy and restful hour and a half in the pools.  As can be seen the weather wasn’t that great but that didn’t matter at all.
From there we headed into the village for lunch at one of the cafe bar places before driving home.
Once home the family were meeting friends for a catch-up, leaving me to cook dinner for them.  Ella’s favourite of “bangers and mash”. 
While this was happening a FaceTime from Lexi, then another FaceTime when the Wellington family got home.  So it was all go here for a time.
We’re all heading off to bed, it’s been a busy couple of days, filled with lovely family times. So lucky.
