They’re back

I was drinking coffee on the balcony watching the drizzle and procrastinating about putting in a claim to BA for delayed luggage when I saw a pair of great spotted woodpeckers darting about. The male rested long enough on my neighbour's fence to get a blip. I haven’t seen them for months.
Happily the drizzle turned to heavy rain so I felt justified in having a second do very little day. I’ll have to make more of an effort tomorrow.
I did complete the BA thing, goodness knows what they will make of the Georgian receipts, their script is beautiful.
