Common Spotted Orchid

A and went for a walk this morning while the temperature was still tolerable.  We walked from home along the disused railway track to the village of Letheringsett.

When we reached the ford it was shocking to see so little water in it, I've never seen it so low.  We found a shady bench to enjoy our flasks of coffee before heading back.  On our return route over Spout Hills we came across a number of common spotted orchids amongst buttercups and some kind of yellow vetch (I think).
