White bells

After the supermarket order had been delivered, and the shopping put away, I walked in to Holmfirth with MrM. I needed to post my favourite pair of shoes back to the maker - discovered yesterday that one of the soles had split right across, and the other had started to split. They weren't that old! The shoes may have been rubbish, but at least customer service seems to be excellent, and the company have already replied to the email I sent last night and offered a refund or credit note.

The trip into Holmfirth was a good excuse for a light lunch at Beatties, then a longer than usual route home to walk off at least some of the calories! We walked along the river, then up through the woods.

Whilst watering the garden this evening I noticed two lovely little bell-shaped flowers, Canterbury Bells I think, that have suddenly appeared through a dense shrub.
